In a 250mL four-mouth bottle equipped with mechanical stirring, 24.1g of cetyl amine and 100mL of absolute ethanol were added, 20.9g of 88% formic acid and 24.3g of 37% formaldehyde were added at a controlled temperature below 20 °C, the reaction system was closed with a balloon, heated to reflux reaction for 10 hours, the temperature was sampled, and the TLC detection reaction was complete. 30% liquid alkali was added to the reaction solution to neutralize to a pH value of 10, toluene was added for extraction, the toluene layers were combined and washed, desolubilized, and 16.8g of colorless transparent liquid was distilled under reduced pressure, with a yield of 62% and a content of ≥ 95.0%.
